ਅਵਲਿ ਅਲਹ ਨੂਰੁ ਉਪਾਇਆ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਬੰਦੇ ॥

Ek Noor Te Sabh Jug Oopajia Kaun Bhalay Ko Mundhay ||1||
God created light of which all the beings were born
And from this one light, the entire universe welled up;
so who is good and who is bad.
ਮਾਟੀ ਏਕ ਅਨੇਕ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਸਾਜੀ ਸਾਜਨਹਾਰੈ ॥
Maatee Ek Anaek Bhanth Kar Sajee Sajaneharai ||
